Regina is a change agent for equity with over 30 years of experience in architecture, urban planning, and anti-poverty activism. As the founding director of Human Systems and Strategies Design Group and co-founder of The Budd Center at SMU, she has spent decades leading keystone projects that transform how we think about community building. Regina holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Texas Tech and a Master’s in Design and Innovation from SMU.

Karen Brooks-Crosby

Karen brings two decades of executive leadership in community development and commercial real estate to Green+. Having previously served as president of one of Dallas’ leading nonprofit CDCs and as a Senior VP at NationsBank (now Bank of America), she understands the complex intersection of finance and social impact. A graduate of Michigan State University, Karen is dedicated to altering the built environment so that every community has the chance to thrive.
